I’m really excited to share with you a Google Hangout conversation I had about a month ago with some contributors (now friends) at Catholic Mom. We talked about our favorite books, as well as my meditation journal, touching just a bit on my forthcoming book from Sophia Institute Press.
What’s been so helpful with all of these interviews is that I’ve gotten a lot of clarity about what people perceive a caregiver to be. It seems very few people self-identify as one even if they qualify as a caregiver, and I’m not sure if the aversion is due to the stereotype of the overwhelmed and harried elderly person caring for their spouse or something yet to be identified.
Erika Marie and Lisa Jones were amazing co-hosts, and I felt their warmth and sincerity immediately. I think you’ll enjoy hearing our more casual “coffee shop” conversation in this fairly informal interview.
